Jensen C-V8 Mk II (1964)

One of the unsung supercars of the early sixties. Styled in-house by the Eric Neale, it's looks are debated still. Whatever else is said about it, the C-V8 is visually unique and has outstanding performance. It definitely gets noticed with that 6.2 litre, 330 bhp, burble from the American "Golden Commando" engine. The car seats four in comfort and is a delight to drive. On the open road the argument rages on about it being faster than an Jaguar E-type (whose claim was almost 150 mph but never reached by production models) and the ride is as comfortable and quiet as you would expect from even a modern Grand Tourer. Well recognised in the classic car scene, a heady mix of performance, 60's luxury and style.
